We will meet to discuss Thomas Merton’s book New Seeds of Contemplation at the Kentwood Library (located on Breton between 44th Street and 52nd Street) starting at 6pm on Wednesday, September 13th, and 6pm.
We’ll discuss these chapters:
Chapter 16 – The Root of War is Fear
Chapter 17 – Hell as Hatred
Chapter 18 – Faith
Chapter 19 – From Faith to Wisdom
Chapter 20 – Tradition and Revolution
If you’re available, and you’d like to be part of one of the best spiritual discussions in town, stop by the Richard L. Root (Kentwood) branch of the library at 6pm on Wednesday, September 13th
Please try to arrive on time at 6:00. We usually have to start packing up early (7:45ish) because the library closes at 8:00.
We’ll serve bottled water, decaf coffee, and treats of some kind.
