You are invited to join us for our monthly meeting (always the second Wednesday of every month), this time on September 12th, at Baker Book House near the corner of East Paris and 28th Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Time: 7pm.
Location: The Community Room.
For our next meeting, we will discuss Chapter 5 of Thomas Merton’s book The Inner Experience, a few copies of which may still be available at Baker Book House. If not there, then Amazon.
Former monk, long-time Merton aficionado, and “In the Footsteps of St. Paul” tour guide Greg Carnivale will lead the discussion.
We will also open up for comments and questions about previous chapters. In addition, feel free to ask questions about Thomas Merton, Cistercian spirituality, monastic life, or a topic/concern/question related to your own spiritual life.
